Compassionate End-of-Life Care

Evergreen Wellness AFH provides hospice and end-of-life care with dignity.

As one family shared, “The owners go above and beyond to ensure comfort during her time in hospice care”. We coordinate with hospice nurses and doctors for pain management and comfort measures, while our caregivers stay by your loved one’s side around the clock.

Our focus is always on peace and quality of life – gentle companionship, soothing music, family visits – in our homelike setting.

In your most difficult moments, we’re here to support both the resident and their family with compassion and respect.

Fall Prevention at Evergreen

Preventing falls is a top priority for us.
Our home is equipped with fall sensors and grab bars, and wheelchairs or walkers are used as needed.

Caregivers always supervise when residents move around. We also do regular check-ups on seniors’ stability and make sure beds are at the right height. Thanks to these measures, and our high staff-to-resident ratio, falls are minimized.

If a loved one has fallen at home, an adult family home like ours can provide a safer environment where continuous assistance greatly reduces that risk.

Short-Term & Respite Stays

Yes, we welcome short stays at Evergreen Wellness AFH.

Some families arrange respite visits for a few weeks if they need a break or to test out the setting.

When a private room is available, we provide the same 24/7 care and activities even for temporary residents.

Short stays are a good way to see if our home is the right fit for your loved one. Rest assured, even on a short-term basis, every resident receives full attention, personal care, and participation in our daily life.

Arts & Crafts Afternoon

Creativity is encouraged here!
Residents join in our arts & crafts session. Whether it’s painting watercolors, making greeting cards, or simple crafts with beads and yarn, engaging in art is both fun and therapeutic.

These activities keep hands agile and minds active, and everyone loves showing off the artwork. Art time also sparks conversation – residents share stories behind their creations.

Expressive activities like these are a simple way to promote joy and meaning every day.
