Arts & Crafts Afternoon

Creativity is encouraged here!
Residents join in our arts & crafts session. Whether it’s painting watercolors, making greeting cards, or simple crafts with beads and yarn, engaging in art is both fun and therapeutic.

These activities keep hands agile and minds active, and everyone loves showing off the artwork. Art time also sparks conversation – residents share stories behind their creations.

Expressive activities like these are a simple way to promote joy and meaning every day.

What Level of Care Does My Loved One Need?

One of the most common questions families ask is, “How much care does my parent actually need?”

The answer depends on daily challenges—such as mobility, memory, medication management, and personal care needs. At Evergreen Wellness AFH in Kent, WA, we help families understand the right level of support, whether it’s assisted living, memory care, or total care.

If you’re searching for “senior care near Kent WA” or wondering what the next step looks like, we’re here to guide you with honesty and compassion.

Our goal is simple: make sure your loved one is safe, comfortable, and truly cared for in a home-like environment.

Our 6-Bed Home

One of our strengths is our size: we’re licensed for only 6 residents.
This small scale means we offer highly personalized attention. With just a few neighbors, it’s easy for staff to learn everyone’s routines and health needs.

By contrast, large homes (often 70+ beds) simply can’t provide the same one-on-one time. Our 6-bed setup allows seniors to get to know each caregiver well, forming genuine bonds.

This exceptional caregiver ratio gives each resident dedicated support and companionship that larger facilities rarely match.

Family-Like Atmosphere

We truly feel like an extension of your family.

Our home is family-owned and operated by caregivers themselves.

Owners Laura and Alex live nearby, so you’ll see them at meals and activities. This personal touch means our staff genuinely care about each resident as an individual.

Birthdays and anniversaries are celebrated with cakes and photos; evenings might end with a family photo slideshow. Residents and staff do chores and fun things together – cooking, games, even birthday parties.

The result is a warm, family-like atmosphere where seniors are comfortable and loved.
